I, for one, would like to recognize unfumdisi as one of stripcreator's best, brightest, and genial members. Great comics, great sense of humor, a kind-hearted guy, and someone who deserves to be recognized.

I realize this is probably maudlin and most likely carries homosexual undertones, or even overtones, but it's gotta be said nonetheless.

UMFUM, I am glad you are back, I am sad for your loss, and I really want you to know that you have been an inspiration to me. Thanks, umfum.

When I was starting out on SC, umfum was one of the very few people who commented on a lot of my comics, and went out of his way to PM me some ideas and suggestions. He even generously let me participate in his "UMFUMDAILY" series. He is the man. Long live the umfum!

My signature says it all, unless I've changed it, in which it used to say something about bringing Umfum back.

I also am a big fan of the umfum except that I have trouble figuring out how to pronounce his name.

I've got it on good authority that it's pronounced "oom-foom-dees"

And while we're on the subject, can you make sure that you pronounce the "jes_" in jes_lawson with a Sean Connery style accent.

And the underscore is silent.

The "doug" in "andydougan" should be pronounced with a Joe Pesci accent.

The "ea" in "Beaz" should be pronounced in a classic Walken accent.

The "ragon" in DragonXero should be pronounced with a distinct Draconian accent.
It sounds similar to "YEEEEARRRRGGGHH!!!" but, you have to say it in horror.

The "fm" in kaufman should be pronounced with no static at all.

I always forgot there is supposed to be a tilde on the 'y' in MikeyG. That means you pronounce it with the same sound as you do when you hit the middle of Enya. 'nyuh'

If you really wanna know how to pronounce it, pick up a DVD or VHS copy of "Cry The Beloved Country" starring James Earl Jones.

I didn't even know this thread existed until Mikey(nyuh)G alerted me. Of course, it soon devolved into a competition to see who could post the funniest way to say their member name, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks.

Oh, and I prefer saying Mike(n-yuk, n-yuk, n-yuk)G

I'd like you to pronounce my name in a Marlin Brando style accent... it's what my parents named me and you should respect that.

My name should only be uttered in conjunction with a knee-slapping motion. Think 7 Brides for 7 Brothers stylee.

I just like to say the word 'smamurai'. It sounds dirty. And I say 'umfumdisi' the only possible way you CAN say it. By brandishing a spear and threatening people with it screaming 'umfumdisi' at the top of my lungs, Howard Dean-stylee.
