First, I'd like to thank Zaster for the vote and, of course, MikeyG for originating the idea.

Because I liked Zaster's "you can modify them" approach, I selected the opponents based on two categories: 1) you can modify them, and 2) they're very human-- sort of. As a result, I have chosen The Six Million Dollar Man (aka, The Bionic Man) vs. Inspector Gadget.

Rules are the same as before: give me the best reason for your choice of winner.

DUH! Inspector Gadget. After all, Penny and Brain help him through everything. Penny'd hack into the 6 Million Dollar Man's robotic parts and render him useless while Brain managed to get Gadget to use his laser or would force Gadget's roller skates to come out and just push him to where he'd roll and fall on the 6 Million Dollar Man in a cartoonish manner, thus rendering his foe unconscious.

i don't know why the bionic man link isn't working. it was working two minutes ago. let's try this:

Even alone, Inspector Gadget would win. Although he needs help from Penny and Brain most of the time, he still manages to screw up in such a way that he manages to defeat his foes.

$6 million doesn't buy you squat these days. I'll bet Inspector Gadget cost over $300 million alone. But, then again, he was played by Matthew Broderick. Stone Cold Steve Austin wins.

Inspector Gadget has a bigger dick.

I figure Steve Austin would be stronger, and more resilient, so would win in a close-ranged fist fight. Gadget's best bet would be to keep him at a distance where he could get better use from his gadgets.

I'm going to have to agree with DragonXero. In the occasional situation where Penny and Brain cannot get to Gadget in time or what have you, Gadget always manages to trip over something or accidentally set something off to save his bacon. He is one of those individuals who are totally frustratingly unaware of the danger they put themselves in, yet they come out on top.

Besides, although Austin has that cool sound whenever he does something 'bionic', Nothing beats a friggin' head copter.

Inspector Gadget could get out of any situation easily.
