So if I tried to talk the author of 8-Bit Theater into donating art, would that be okay? Seeing as how nearly everything he does is technically stolen from Squaresoft? Or is that a little too much copyright infringement?

Actually, truth be known, I'm PRETTY sure that all this is quite well-protected under the "parody" laws, seeing as how we're editing more than 60% of the strips. I think the care taken is to avoid bad feelings amongst real authors, not to avoid a lawsuit. We don't wanna look like assholes, do we? DO WE? Okay, we don't care.
