That's just silly. Everyone know that you should only play computer games for twelve non-stop hours at a time, maximum. Sheesh, kids these days...

I liked the monopoly story...

"Sorry Daddy! You landed on Boardwalk, with a hotel that would be..."

I once played twelve Infocom games, including the Zork triology, straight through over a period of seven weeks without sleeping or moving away from the computer. I made use of a small chemical toilet next to the computer table in the basement and ate whatever my mother decided to toss down the stairs at me. After the first month she insisted on calling me 'Gollum', and blamed me for the cat's disappearance, swearing to my father that I'd eaten it.

I would have stayed there longer had a freak lightning storm not fried the computer.

Yeah, well my stepfather takes a whip to me every time I stop playing Evercrack and driving his character up the expeirence ladder. I've been playing and reconnecting now since the game was launched without a break - on an XT box - using only my lips on the monitor as an I/O device. But I did NOT DIE!

Pussy.

I've been playing a single game of Lemonade Stand on an Apple IIe an average of 80 hours a week since fifth grade.

I own 83% of the universe.

Ahh, the appleIIe. I remember the multitudes of hours playing Wizardy, Ultima, Loadrunner, & other grayscale based classics. The best was when I inadvertantly consumed opium and saw a pink elephant walk across the screen and wave at me. Mind you, the screen only displayed shades of green.

Maybe that was your foot.

I don't think so, it was neither hairy nor covered with green nail fungus.
