Is it possible? Do I have to be a donor?

It's not possible at this time.

So it might be in the future?

Anyway, would you say that it's worth registering again to get a new name? The thing is, I use this other name everywhere else on the web...

It would be kinda nice to be able to change your name, but I've never seen a message board that allowed you to do that, and Stripcreator is likely never going to be different.

if you only have 34 comics, i'd say it's worth it, especially if you have a name you use everywhere else and you want to direct friends to your comics. at very least, if you decide to keep your current name, you should re-register just to drop a couple of Hs in there.

Changing your account name is a pain in the ass for Brad (anyone who's registered in the last month or so will not have met our AWOL leader) so I'd suggest making a new account and possibly asking him to delete your old one, there's nothing wrong with having more than one username on SC, at least not in my opinion.

I haven't been that active here until recently, so I have a few questions that have to do with your post.

1. Where's Brad? When you search his name, why does it say "Brad has made no comics?"

2. Do a lot of the regulars have alternate/troll characters? Why do they do this? Do you think I should create one?

Brad runs this site, but doesn't make permanent comics. Or if he does, it's under another name. That's just the way he does it.

I'd encourage you not to.

A few of us have a bunch of lognames, but I hope it's not for troll purposes.

For what it's worth, I happen to have four. My other three were due to "mystery cups," in which this method allowed comics to be judged without the identity of their creators to be known.

I still occasionally use those accounts for comics I don't want to put my name on for some reason (for example, they don't quite meet up with the quality standards I want associated with my name), but I've never used them for trolling.

And no, you can't know who they are.

Thanks for answering my questions. Although you advise against it, I can hardly wait to create an alternate logname for myself, although I plan to use in for posting the comics I make that I feel have actually exceeded the standards associated with my regular username.

I have an alias or two myself. I like to have them, and although I don't troll and keep all my shitty comics under my own name, I like the idea of having one.

He was here last night, but I don't know what he was up to.

He only talks through moderators now, we are like mediums.

I have various alternative accounts, one of which I am immensely proud of, I thought of a gimmick for making comics and it seemed to pay off. Even though I haven't made many comics under that name, it's still some of my best work.
