From what I can see, there has recently been a flourishing of talented newcomers to this fine website. And the winnar of the last newb contest (dekayingmind) has gone MIA. Now being a judge of the last newb contest, and a supporter of this contest, I took it upon myself to start the 3rd newbie contest. If you think this is a good idea and would like to help judge, send me a PM or something, but I'd really like to see how all the newer folks here can do in a COMPETITION TO THE DEATH!...sorta

in case you dont know, you can compete in this contest if you either:

1) have been a member of SC for a month or less
2) have made 50 or less comics

The topic is...um...lets see...current events, YES! current events.

I dont mean to pull an 'SVcomix' or anything, and I'm not talking about the n00b contest designed by Possums, I just don't want to see this contest die, cuz hey, we were all newbs once.

I don't mean to pull a Dr. Pedantic on you, but if it's a continuation of the one dekayingmind won, then it IS my contest. Rather, it's umfum's brainchild but my execution (per his request).
