By "famous paintings" I mean ones the average person is likely to have seen--if I haven't seen it, I won't find it that humorous and thus will judge more harshly. Some addenda: 1) Famous sculptures and/or other visual (non-moving) media are also fair game. 2) Think twice before using the Mona Lisa. I've seen about all of those.
