I'll probably make some more backgrounds when I damn well feel like it. So tell me what to make, because I can't think of anything.

As was suggested in a previous topic below:

A torture room

A dance club with people dancing in the background

A bar

And I remember someone saying something about the inside of a car.

What I'd like to see:

A castle

A couple of different sidewalk scenes, perhaps with people walking in the background

A kitchen

A loungeroom with a couch in the middle

A dining room with a table in the background

A laundry

More internal rooms from houses

A bookstore

A supermarket (both inside and outside)

A chemist

A park with a statue in the background

A police station (both inside and outside)

A hospital (both inside and outside)

A fire station (both inside and outside)

A burning house

A toy store (both inside and outside)

A hardware store (both inside and outside)

A construction site

An army barracks

A laboratory that looks more like a laboratory than a room with a generator (with vials in the background perhaps)

A church (from outside)

An office foyer

A gym (both inside and outside)

A cave interior (with bats hanging from the ceiling)

A garden

A zoo

A themepark

An old west town

Famous landmarks (Statue of liberty, Eiffel tower, Big ben, Uluru (Ayers Rock) to name a few)- to allow 'international' strips without having to name the country in the text

A view from atop a mountain

A tip

A sanitarium (with people in straight jackets in the background)

A concert stage (with the crowd in the background instead of a curtain)

A beach

A tropical island (viewed from out on the water)

A dock or marina

A football stadium

A tennis court

A basketball court

An iceskating rink

A bowling lane

A golf course

A minigolf course

A museum (with a dino skeleton)

A snowscape with an igloo

A forest with a tent

A country road

A mansion (inside and out)

A gameshow stage

A shopfront with a heap of TV's in the window

A petrol station

A backyard BBQ scene

and a swimming pool.

Now of course I'm not expecting all (or any) of these, and to be honest I'd be extatic if you make 2 of them, but hopefully this might give you a few ideas. If I think of any more I'll post them.

The view of a car through the windshield with a road in the rear window, etc.

As the guy with all the suggestions that has never submitted work himself, I think it's only fair that I do some myself. I've just made a bar (inside) and a castle (outside), when I decide what I'll do next I'll post it here so we can avoid any doubling up.

Funny you should mention that -- I was just watching it the other day. Well, actually, I was just watching it in 1976.

I drew a picture of a kitchen background using Microsoft Paint this morning. Sent it off to Brad.

I remember when Match Game switched from just plain ol' Match Game to Match Game '76. I saw the episode where they dropped the big '76 sign down to signify the name change--Gene Rayburn made a big deal about it.

I was seven years-old. I really should remember things like that, but I do.

Perhaps that was unintentional, but it's poetry nonetheless.

Perhaps Gene and the producers knew that someone would try launching a horrible comeback for Match Game in 1990, and they wanted to protect the image of the original series.

Uh, I was a little older, and I remember differently.

The original Match Game ran in the mid-60s or so. Then it went off the air. In 1973 it was reincarnated as Match Game '73, with the new set, regulars like Brett and Charles and Richard, and whatnot. Of course, after 1973, it had to become Match Game '74, and so forth, so what you probably recall was the turn-of-year show when they could no longer be Match Game 75.

Ahhhh, yes. I think I specifically remembered the '76 rollover because of the Bicentenial. People were adding '76 to things at the same fury people added "X" to things in the 90's to make them eXtremely marketable.

I've also done a kitchen and bedroom (the part of the bedroom that doesn't contain the bed). I made these on friday right before I went home.

I'll be doing more in the near future, but I don't know what as yet.

I've now also made a loungeroom. I'll be in a meeting for the rest of the day, so I'll try and make another one or two tomorrow.

I've been a bit busy to reply to emails from people who have submitted backgrounds. I'd recommend posting the backgrounds for feedback here as I pretty much only want to add the best of the best. Thanks.
