JESUSSANDWICH February 28, 2005 2:50 PM	Ok I kinda won the last one cause nobody even made an entry. So here is the idea for the new one: Do an image search for a username of somebody on this website (perferably a regular) Use one of those images and photoshop it. Post results add butter and salt to taste. Winner announced on day of my choosing GET YOUR ASSES IN GEAR CUNTS! Or as Tony Danza would say "ANGELA!!"

I stopped entering contests because they all seemed to become a "Let's give the newbs a chance"-fests instead of picking the funniest comics.

I used to enter the competitions all the time, and although I strongly opposed REQUIRING photoshopping in comic contests, I absolutely advocate ALLOWING it. NooniePuuBunny is an example of someone whose comics are usually amusing, but really shines when she uses PhotoShop.

It's a sad state of affairs.

biped March 10, 2005 6:50 AM	As a judge I've never given the newbs special consideration but they also have an equal chance of winning if their comics make me laugh. Considering the slack-off of interest that a lot of the regs currently have regarding the contests, it sometimes seems as though the newbs play a big part in keeping them going.
