I recently realized that Lenny and Jamalia were fuzzyman's creations. Who's responsible for most of the art in that section? Some of that stuff is pretty wild.

I'm doing this mostly by memory, so anyone else in the know can feel free to correct me.

  • I did the mst characters.
  • gabe_billings did the bobby and the pirate, with a little cleanup work by myself.
  • I think the bee, the cop, and Mr. Stinkybutt were done by LadyJ.
  • I'm fairly sure the priest is another Fuzzyman creation.
  • skagg is responsible for bear, horse, and the other drawings in that style.
  • The dinosaurs, ghost, owl, and sharkman were done by Katy Hargrove, according to the announcement posted by brad when it went up. If she's got a stripcreator username, I have no idea what it is.

This has been your stripcreator history lesson for the day. Next time I'll try to be more funny and less informative.

Priest, Lenny and Jamalia are mine.

I have no drawing skills, so they were actually constructed from parts of other characters (with Dexx's permission).

If you look closely, you'll notice that the priest is actually a modified Fuzzyman. Which is ironic, since I'm a raging Unitarian. (Or, as my wife calls it, a "recovering Catholic").

My post above forgot to mention the rocker character, who was drawn by israphael. I know that omission was weighing heavily on your minds.

Dang, the Priest and fuzzyman DO look a lot alike. I never realized that until now. Oh, and what stripper is the "Matthew" character in the "forumusers" section based on? I can't seem to find a stripper that he could be.

I never realized that until now as well.

Also, I've been trying to get a female zombie in here, and Rabid very kindly agreed to clean her up for me to streamline her for bradley's discriminate tastes. Can anyone else help me fix dcomposed's girlfriend?

Here are several different incarnations of her:

The answer to that can be found on this interesting little site that I just happened to stumble across by accident on Google a few days ago: http://www.woodenbadger.com/strippers/

Sorry about the fuzzy white specks around the zombie chick. That's what happens when you paste a saved image into paintbox and I didn't feel like inking them all out.

Well, that used to work.

Let me upload them to imageshack and post them:

I had that same problem until I realized that if I save the character in GIF format instead of JPG format then those fuzzy white specks around the character don't appear when you paste the character onto a background.

Skagg apparently had books and books of those sketches that he did during dull days at work. I kept trying to convince him to adapt more of them for the site, but I don't think he could really be bothered.

Well I would've if you had sent me the damn pictures already. I shall attempt cleaning her up soon, probably not real soon though.

Thanks, that will certainly come in handy in the future.

If memory serves, it was a collaboration between two of our absent friends, DexX and gabe_billings. So don't expect any updates in the next few decades.

You're welcome. I came to that realization when I read Brad's guidelines on how to submit artwork:

"Characters must be in GIF format and be at most 125 pixels wide and 175 pixels high.

Backgrounds must be in JPEG format and should be 250 pixels wide and 350 pixels high."
