Hello, all stripcreators and obnoxious trolls alike! It's been awhile since my last CC (260something if I remember correctly), but I've been rife with ideas for quite a long time. And well, this idea's a little personal.

What you have to do is shoot me a private message, saying something about how you would like to enter CC290. Then, I will give you your own set of personal rules. YOU MUST SEND A PM FOR EVERY COMIC YOU MAKE (unless it's a series). HOWEVER, if you do not wish to participate with the set of rules bestowed upon you, make a comic about me. That's all there is to it, really.

The one rule that applies to everyone is that you will gain extra points for making a reference to any of Roman Polanski's movies.

Also, you will gain bonus points for identifying the film that this garbled image comes from:

NOW GO, ZARATHUSTRA!! PM LIKE A TEENAGER WITH LITTLE TIME ON HIS HANDS!!!

My Rules:
1. Your comic must contain a theme of twins.
2. You must have no word longer than five letters in the entire comic, including the title.
3. You must make a reference to a cancelled FOX television show.

Considering my limited vocabulary options, I think I did pretty good.

I would like to rephrase this little criterion:

You will gain extra poitns for making a GOOD reference to any of Roman Polanski's movies. I do mean specific movies, people, and so far, only one person has got that right.

Somehow I think he wasn't referring to Mr. Poop...While I understand you might be trying to infer The Pianist, I clearly mention the name of a movie, The Ninth Gate...and it also looks like I was not only the only one to make the right kind of reference, but I was also the only one with the balls and/or smarts to follow my given theme and make it work. Honestly now, I can't be the only one, can I?

Yeah.... it must be personal:

/comics/lukket/299181/

1. Nothing but palindromes. Use google if you must. Your title must be a palindrome as well.
2. All of your characters must be co-workers at whatever job it is they work at.
3. You may have no female characters.

Dammit, I'm mad!

Whoa now tiger! That's pretty condescending there. The only one with the balls and/or smarts? Someone thinks rather highly of themself...

My theme works pretty well, I must say. I didn't just reference a movie- My characters ENACTED one.

1. The word "sexagesima" must pop up somewhere in your comic, and it must be used correctly.
2. Coincidentally, it may only be used once.
3. The comic must take place underwater.

I accidentally deleted the pm with my rules, so I have to hope I remembered them right.

1. The comic must reference a classic novel.
2. All speech bubbles must be in the form of haiku.
3. The letter "c" may not appear in the comic at all.

One way to get around some rules is to use numbers.
299249
My rules were:
1. You may not feature the letters D, V, or O anywhere in your comic, including the title.
2. The theme of your comic is "untying knots."
3. You may only use characters from the "submitted" and "props" categories

1. Your comic must be intentionally unfunny. This can be realized by using the "fuck method" which is intentionally mispelling everything, or the "attitudechicka method" which is forgetting a punchline.
2. You must reference at least three other users besides yourself and me in the comic.
3. No use of plural nouns.

Yeah, it's lame. I suck at comic competitions.

Rules:

1. Two Britney Spears fans must be conversing about current metal acts.
2. None of your words can start with the letter "D."
3. Someone must mention office supplies.

My rules:

1. You may not use all caps or use the word "fuckface."
2. Your comic must be about the deep south, but must include no racial slurs.
3. Your comic must take place in two different time periods. Use a series if you wish.

1. You must be drunk while this comic is being made. (assuming you're 21, i mean, which i think you are. i dunno. use nyquil if you're not.)
2. Use of the letter "Y" in any circumstance is out of the quiestion.
3. The setting is that of a spelling bee.

Should be pretty clear that I followed 1, since this isn't much different than any other comic I've done.

/comics/mandingo/299436/

2. The only characters you can use are blonde-2-1 and blonde-2-2 or whatever they're called. they have their mouths open the whole time.

My rules were:

1. Your comic must be photoshopped, but you must include ONE stripcreator character, and only one.
2. The theme is hangovers.
3. Just throw some nudity in there, I get what I can from where I can.
4. At least one word of Dutch must be in your comic.

I apologise for mine being massive and also a bit rough round the edges, I haven't entered a comic competition for a while, much less Photoshop anything.

3rd Place- jes_lawson for his pretty freakin' funny Star Trek parody.
2nd Place- NeoVid for a very clever spelling-bee comic.
1st Place- lukket for his two very funny entries, and one with both tittes and clambake in one panel.

Honorable Mentions: biped, mandingo, DragonXero, lima and mrpoop.

Unhonorable Mentions: Everyone I gave rules to that didn't enter (i.e., BigFrank105 and a few others), and everyone who couldn't figure out the movie that frame was from, which was all of you. The film was M by Fritz Lang.

TAKE IT AWAY, LUKKET!

/comics/BigFrank105/300104/

1. You may only use one character. That character must deliver a monologue in as many panels as you like.
2. The monologue must be about some form of crime, be it organized, sexual, etc.
3. You may not use any words that start with the letter T.
