I made this series starting when I first joined stripcreator...

I find it funny, but there is a lot of reading involved in the early ones. I'm just going to post a link to the comic set as there are 31 of them...

Towards the end I made the comics one tech (me) and cut down on a lot of the dialog. A lot of these calls are real and some are exaggerated. As a help desk analyst this is what I hear and go through..

People are stoopid.

If you don't like to read don't bother..

I can't play games at work because any site with a "game" meta tag is blocked.

I really didn't like this series. Something kept me reading to the last one, but overall, I've seen this type of comic way too often, and I've heard the same stories plenty of times as well.

Wierd, i've only ever seen one other person do anything similar on this site so far...

Oh well, not going for originality, going for stress relief. Yes all help desk techs have the same stories, but that is because there are so many ignorant people

I agree. I also hope that I am never one of these supposed "ignorant" people because some of the equipment that you were expecting the clients to find and work themselves seems like it would be impossible to me. I feel alienated by that, but it's my fault for never caring much about my computer and always asking my brother to fix my problems for me. Which is usually "It's not working, I'm not touching it until you fix it". No further explanation, just a statement that something is broken and I refuse to try to fix it myself.

When I said Ignorant, I really meant rude. People are afraid of technology or don't care, so they call all stressed out and some yell/swear/threaten me. That is what I meant.

The entire world is run by PC's now. It kinda sucks
