The kitchen background is out of scale. Observe:

The trick with background is to remember that people are only half as tall as the frame, so anything like a table or a kitchen benchtop has to be waist-high or so to the characters, and therefore only in the bottom quarter of the background image.

Sucks, I know, especially since background based on photos are never taken at that kind of scale.

add a table to the BG and make it look like they are standing on the kitchen table

Okay I've spent the past 45 minutes adding art and still haven't gotten it all.

Stuff I put online: all the new squidrabies stuff. Injokester's stuff (now in an injokester category). DragonXero's character of himself & phreaky's character. The trek "beaming up" graphic.

Question: are all the anime style characters by HCRoyall? And should some of them be in the forumusers category?

The only stuff I'm not sure whether I'll add:

- alternate pose of fishhand (just seems like his mouth isn't yellow anymore, the pose isn't different)
- matchstick man (kinda blocky, not sure what use he'd be.)
- the art/gallery background (seems a little uh... loud. and there's no floor.)
- kitchen background (no floor, out of proportion.)

I'll work on adding the rest later.

All the anime style guys are mine. The forum users I don't really care where they go; put them in with the rest or make a forumusers2 folder or something if you want to separate them.

The nonforumuser ones are Harrison, Jer, Amy, Kim, and soon to be Remy as well, though DexX was giving them various facial expressions and I don't think he's done yet.

i made the match stick man, i was thinking he could be used with the fire fighters, the fire prop or who knows what else...it is a bit blocky but i mean, a match stick really is all just blocky in general, i could maybe give him different arms and hands or create a match stick man with a real match and my digital camera and edit it in fireworks 8 or photoshop.

What about me???? I wanted a character...

DX has like 3 characters now. Maybe I'll grow my hair out and be Silver Age DragonXero.

HCRoyal already did one of Big Frank in his style, but I figure this one's different enough that it won't hurt. I promised Frank I'd fix up the character I did for him a while back. I'd prefer this one in the Injokester category and HC's with the forum users if nobody has any objections.

if i had an optical mouse i could probably make some drawing attempts without having to use shapes, but the ball in my mouse is picky about moving with small movements.

The ones with the axe are probably a bit limited in their use, but this should give the character a bit of depth.

Brad, I don't know if you'll want to use this one or not, it's pretty weird. These guys seem to want more Abe though.

Too cornball perhaps... (I prefer Abe, King of the Gorillas).

The thing he's hanging of is supposed to be both a tree and a swinging vine, I left it fairly neutral so it would work as either depending on the context of of the comic.

Does the vine/tree need any work? I left it plain to accentuate Abe's adorable fluffiness.

As you can see Mandingo, it makes a bit of a difference.
