I thought we needed a dedicated thread for this.
If you would like a character made of you, request it here. Give us all the info you can, though, including:
- at least one photo of yourself, preferably several
- a detailed description of the clothes and pose you want your character to have (include a photo in this outfit and pose if at all possible)
- an indication of whose style of art you think would suit you best, if you have a preference.
Please be nice about it - nobody is owed a character, and we contributing artists just do it for the fun of it. Fact is, sometimes none of us will really feel like drawing the kind of thing you have requested, and you might have to wait a long while or change your request to something more fun to draw. We're a fickle bunch, we artists...
Oh, an additional note, if you want DragonXero to do your character, you'll need to provide a photo of you in exactly the pose and outfit you want, as he does his characters by tracing.
So, request away, but remember there are no rules or obligations. We'll draw you if we feel like drawing you, and rules like "first come first served" may be arbitrarily ignored because, like ferrets or ADHD-afflicted children, we've been distracted by something more fun. If you stick to the rules above, though, our job will be easier, and we will be more likely to it. :)
