If you've been paying attention to Fights Go Here in the past month or so, you probably saw "Hurt and Heal." For those of you who didn't play, here are the basic rules.

1. Everyone starts with 10 points.
2. Everyone can "hurt and heal" someone once a round. A round is a day long. One hurt takes 2 points away, while a heal gives one point.
3. You aren't obligated to hurt and heal every round. However, you cannot hurt without healing.
4. You don't have to sign up to hurt and heal, but you can't win without signing up.

New Rule:

You can't hurt and heal the same two people consecutively. Example: You hurt areallystupidguy and heal HCRoyall on Tuesday. On Wednesday, you can't hurt ARSG and you can't heal HC. You CAN, however, heal ARSG and hurt HC, though that would be incredibly fickle. You cannot hurt/heal someone on Tuesday, skip Wednesday, and then hurt/heal them again on Thursday.

I will be the first person to sign up. Anyone can sign up, there are 39 slots left, if we even get to that many. No game if we don't get over 15 competitors.

Just reply by copy/pasting the list and adding yourself at the end.

If we did one of these the way they are traditionally played, trying to pick a favourite out of a bunch of fictional characters or ice cream flavours or whatever, then I'd join in, but I like you people, and the overt choice of one over another makes me feel uncomfortable. Maybe I'm just too sensitive. shrug

Not the way I'm reading it. The way I see it, it says you can't hurt or heal the same person twice in a row. So:

Tuesday-
Hurt Bob
Heal Dave

Wednesday-
Hurt Jim
Heal Mike

Though Wednesday you could turn around and heal Bob, Hurt Dave, or both, but as cpausti said that's kinda fickle.

Then that's stupid. I refuse to participate. Let's say it's down to the final 2 and it's Bob and Jim. Yesterday, you hurt Bob and healed Jim, but today, just to make your vote count, you have to Hurt Jim and Heal Bob. Or same scenario: Bob and Jim are all that's left, your last vote was Hurt Joe and Heal Jim. Now You are FORCED to hurt Jim and Heal Bob because you can't heal Jim twice in a row.

Me = No participation.

cpausti October 24, 2005 5:11 PM	Well, in that case, of course you can do the same. I think once it's down to the final 5 or so I'll end that rule. In fact, I bet you could sneak it past me a few times.
