At least the popularity of the punk band Don Knotts Suicide Cult will soar. I mean, I liked them and stuff, so.

Don Knotts and Darren McGavin. Barney Fife and Carl Kolchak. (And the father from A CHRISTMAS STORY.) Two wonderful inconic actors beloved by millions. It is indeed a sad day.

I will mark this occasion by watching my "Don Knotts Reluctant Hero Pack" DVD collection and my copy of A CHRISTMAS STORY. Plus whatever "Andy Griffith Show" and "Kolchak:The Night Stalker" episodes I have on tape. They were both wonderful actors and quite irreplacable.

In other news, Abe Vigoda is still alive.

In other news, I'm creating a Don Knotts zombie.

He'll rise from the dead on his own, and kill all who have disrespected him. and i'm gonna make a show about it. i'll miss biped and mandingo. and luckyguess. maybe scot, on a rainy day.
