Drexle October 15, 2001 1:21 AM	Not quite as many people as I would have thought listed me, but my guess wasn't far off. What surprises me is the one who I don't ever remember posting here. When I see myself listed on someone's profile who's comics I haven't acutually read yet, I feel compelled to read them just to see how similar a sense of humor mine is with theirs.

DexX October 15, 2001 2:12 AM	I did the ego search, too, and found that a couple of people who had me listed were not among those I have read. One in particular was very good, and subsequently got himself added to my own list. Exactly why Deisel/manky_man has me on his/their list/s is beyond me. Have I ever been anything but unfriendly toward him? If so, I didn't mean it.

By the same token, one of my best friends has made some strips on here... I'm not putting him on my favorites list, though.

one of my best friends has strips here, too (Tangent27)--fortunately, his handful are kinda funny, so i can put him on my faves, thus not hurting his feelings, and not compromise my faves list at the same time. whee!

a goodly portion of my faves are made up of people onto whom the forum regulars have turned me (that was a grammatical mess), and some of them haven't posted in ages and i'll never ever speak to, being still a relative n00b.

that said, i'm on a growing number of lists (even taking out menbah), and i'm pretty happy with my place in the SC universe. *burp*

DexX October 18, 2001 7:59 PM	I thought the point of a favourites list was to say "Here are some other people whose stuff I like - if you like my strips, you may also enjoy theirs." Directing somebody to your comics, when they are obviously already there, looking at them, seems a bit silly to me. Makes you look a bit egomaniacal too.

andydougan November 11, 2001 3:11 PM	I just noticed that the results of a favourites search are ordered by each stripper's first comic. An easy way to see who's more of a newbie than you.
