Any chance someone could check IPs for some of the ever-increasing number of incredibly irritating newbies that seem to be infesting the board at present? Maybe I'm wrong, but many of them seem to be the same moron churning out one moniker after another and seeing how cute he can get. It's really starting to get on my fucking nerves.

I second this. Mods need to start pulling out the red-card.

You fellas feed him/her/it by responding to his/her/its' crap, CONSTANTLY. Just an observation.

Right. It's not like they don't spam the boards with thread after thread of the same crap or anything. Thanks, intrepid observer who I've never even seen before.

I'd rather not have CONSTANT CRAP infesting the boards, if it's all the same to you.

Ignore them, it's not hard to do.

Why? If your house suddenly became infested with rats, would you just ignore them?

I agree, I wasn't having a go at you or anything like that, was just trying to ease your *pain* with a friendly suggestion.

Someone's testy..sorry, I'll back off then.

I don't know why you're so adamant on defending trolls, person who never posted until now, but how does it affect you if they're banned? Why do you care? Go to General Discussion, Fights Go Here and the RMDC forum and you'll see how they've clogged the boards. It's not one or two threads, but multiple ones, some that are duplicates posted hours apart. It's not just me and biped. A lot of us are pissed at the state of the boards right now, so bugger off.

No, I'd call in the exterminators, however I don't think this one's a rat, it's just a juvenile looking for someone to "delinguent".

I'm not defending anyone, I just think the more you feed him, the more he has you by the short and curlies..he's winning and you're allowing him to by responding to his posts.

*so bugger off.*

LOL! Sure thing! You "comics" seriously have no sense of humour, I'll stick to the "other side" where there are no precious personalities to contend with..have a good one! :)

Right. Your comics on the other hand about some black lady and her adopted grandmother are modern-day masterpieces. fierycrotch, my comics may not be the best around these parts, but at least I know what a punchline is. I mean that 'Ring a Bell' strip... whoa, I thought I would laugh so hard I would bust a lung.

Can we please get back on topic? Firey, your name is very descriptive, since you seem to just be flame bait. You don't like the complaints? Don't read them.

As for the annoying trolls on every other board, I'd really like to see something done about it, frankly. It'a become very old and annoying. And Fire, you're quite new to this site, so I wouldn't be jumping up and definding the trolls quite yet. Yes, they are being fed, but they're really hard to avoid, and frankly the whole "ignore them and they'll go away" doesn't always work.

When was the last time we deleted a troll? We didn't even ban that guy who kept spamming his fucking website in all the forum topics.

Not at all, Fieryarrow is the name of my Patron Saint, St Brigid of Ireland..I simpy replied to Biped post about trolls and suggested he should ignore them rather than feed them.

*you're quite new to this site, so I wouldn't be jumping up and definding the trolls quite yet.*

I'm not doing that, I detest trolls and found the best way to circumvent their "effectiveness" was to totally ignore them.

Sometimes that works, but for some reason, around here they're like cancer. You can't get rid of them by ignoring them, you have to chop them off.

That is how they get rid of tumors, right? Because if it's not, I really need to think about buying some malpractice insurance.

You know, there are quote tags for a reason, fieryarrow.

One person or a bunch, this is getting annoying. Anyone who's read sebra's thread in the RMDC forum knows that these ignorant retards are feeding themselves.

No, I'd call in the exterminators

Call the exterminators?! Why didn't we think of that! Oh, wait. The way to exterminate forum trolls is to ban their IP addresses, WHICH IS WHAT WE'RE ASKING SOMEONE TO DO.

You just got here and you're defending trolls who obviously have been creating new accounts to make it look like people actually like them. I'm beginning to think you are one of the aforementioned new accounts.

All I can say to fieryarrow is "Donnie, you're out of your element." I can count your posts on two hands, so established strippers who have been here for years understandably and rightfully get pissed when you try and chastise them. My advice would be to back off this hot-button topic until you've actually established yourself on this site in some noteworthy way.

You'd be wrong in your accusation and I have no problem with someone checking up on my IP address.

I say again, I am against trolling and only offered a suggestion that worked for me..if I spoke out of turn, then my apologies as the FAQ does not state when a "new" poster can or cannot begin posting in forums.

I wasn't "chastising" anyone and as for "backing off", if that makes you feel more secure then sure, it'll be my pleasure. Good luck in your endeavour to get the dude/s banned.
