Re-did some of the style sheets around here. Still tweaking. A bunch of other little features have been added as well.

A few things I added or changed:

- avatars show on comic comments
- better paging
- most times are now shown in relative format (x hours/minutes/days ago)
- quoting messages now indicates who the text is from
- faq has been updated

I just saw this and it was awesome. You rock.

I made the blue links a little darker and also enabled thread excerpts. When you're viewing the contents of a forum you should see the first line or so of the first post of that thread.

Oh yeah: view tracking on threads.

I'm still not real happy with the front page of the site, the grid list in particular but I'm not sure what to do about it.

Punch it in the groin. Nothing solves a problem like a punch to the groin. That's what I do to cure my migraines.

The current comic listing on the front page is kind of hard to read right now. It was easier to tell which comic was attributed to which user with the grid and smaller font.

Not that I would dare question Brad, but it is kind of irritating..

Any chance you'd do some code magic and give us the option to view posts as either time and date or minutes/hours/days rather than just one or the other? Unless that would be a problem. I'm just more of a clock watcher than a minutes calculator.

Just a suggestion. I do like the new forum layout with a post preview.

I made the grid more visible and also made the mouseover highlight work in IE. Any better?

Awesome. You rock. Also, it seems to work just fine on a Mac in Firefox and Safari.

I love that the number of views each thread receives is visible. The rest of the updates are updates as well. Great work bard.

Not sure I like the first line thing, I think it makes the pages a bit too busy, but thats just like, my opinion man (and it'll probably grow on me)

Aside from that, looking ace.

I like the new look.

The forum hotkeys don't seem to be working though-
ctrl-shift-a to build a link
ctrl-shift-i to add an image
ctrl-shift-b to bold
ctrl-shift-t to italicize

I'm a frequent user of Firefox and I see no grid on the front page. It's just plain text with nothing separating it. Here's a little preview:

It works fine for me in IE though. Would it be possible to fix this in Firefox as well?

I use Firefox and it works okay for me. It did look like that, but it "fixed itself."

I use Firefox all the time. Version 2, what version are you on? Also try going to the front page and hold CTRL while you click refresh. Maybe the old style sheet is cached.

Did that, now it's fixed. Thanks Brad.

This was happening to me as well, but it just magically corrected itself about an hour ago. I think it was because I deleted the stripcreator browser cookie.
