A thorough rating of the last five, at your request.

First of all, in comic series, I usually prefer that each comic have a joke.  Ideally, each comic would be funny without the context of the series, but that's too picky, even for me.    The first comic in this series is funnyish, but doesn't have the punch to stand alone, even though it could with a little more work.

The second comic, however, DOES stand along and is awesome.

The third, like the first, was a great set up that needed a little more oomph to bring it home.

The fourth had the potential to be rediculously hilarious, but the third panel fell flat with the old "statement of the obvious" gimmick.  But I think the first two panels -- partciuarly "YOU DIDN'T BRING YOUR OWN DESK?" -- were fast-paced and creative.  The third panel needed the same.

The fifth could've gone somewhere, but just didn't seem to.

The entire series, like most of the comics that make it up, seems somehow incomplete.  I realize you didn't intend to end it there, but a resolution adds a nice touch to a series like this one... one that has a set storyline (unlike other series which are just different situations with the same characters).

This could definitely be something if you rework those punchlines.

And remember... you requested this critique.  8)

Your non-sequitor reminds me very much of my own and obviously appeals very much to my sense of humor. I like your comics and can only suggest straying even further from conventional plotlines. Also what is that clown picture

Thanks alot for the kind words. I haven't read any of your comics, but I appreciate you reading mine. The clown picture was just to make your day a little bit brighter. That is the only reason I posted it. Here are a few more comics for you to read if you're having a bad day and need some cheering up.

Your first one (Boilermakers) is very funny and your best. It reminds me of Red Meat. The characters have a good relationship and the dialogue is snappy. The next four are amusing\quirky, but they are not fully developed and could be better.
