inspired by HCroyall's recent posts concerning the transformation of car parts into weaponry, this thread is for all the deranged, paranoid weapon freaks out there.

here's some of mine:

My newly purchased Badger blade. yes, i opted for the polished happy-pretty finish as opposed to the more believable 'workman's' finish. sue me.

 my ridicously huge silver maple warclub. goes by the name of Cranial Doom. thing weighs about 10 lbs. so basically i get 1 swing. if i hit, i win. if i miss, i die.

god i love this thing...

my cudgel sized viking 'tavern stick'. again silver maple done up in some runework. i forgot what the rune trail says because i was high most of the time i was working on it.

i put hammered copper or brass caps on the ends of all my pieces, initially to prevent wear on the walking staves i made and for the look of thing thereafter.

and last but not least, my trusty S&W .44 for all those occasions where a manual approach just isn't practical.

I'm just waiting for boorite to post all his penis compensations here.  Although AngryAmerican's sexual inferiority complex will be a tough one to beat.

Oh, OK -- I actually have a Sturm Ruger .357 (sob!) It's pretty much identical to this:

I also have a runestaff not unlike AngryAmerican's (don't ask). It only has a basic runic "alphabet" on it though -- no hidden messages. It no longer summons storms or shoots lightening bolts since I stopped sacrificing to the dark gods of yore.

If that's too tough guy for you then I just don't know what to tell ya, other than to say I think that people dorky enough to show off their medieval weapons are about as secure in their personalities as one can get.

This is the only gun I currently own (this isn't mine, I didn't feel like dragging it out for a picture)

It's a Marlin .22 rifle. Needs work, but it's usable. The gun I really want is a 1911A1 .45, but that's going to be expensive.
