Hello all! Great to be back!

I just recently got accepted into a university and am really looking forward to the fall semester. In light of this excellent news, you shall be charged with this mission:

I've gotta read the classics at this institution of higher learning. If I've gotta read them, then I want to see the stripcreator version! Recreate some old school novel stylings in your comics and make it snappy!

Some prime examples:

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

Catch 22

Don Quixote

The Great Gatsby

Lord of the Flies

Moby Dick

1944

The Scarlett Letter

To Kill a Mockingbird

... and this list goes on!

Judging in a few days.

24 hour warning! Results will be posted tomorrow!

(Yes, I know I'm stalling. I'm mostly just hoping for a bunch of last minute entries so I don't have to live with the failure of "Least Participated CC" on the first page. It's really depressing.)

Don't fret.  I think mine was the least participated!

A lot of these are really funny. How could I possibly compete? I think my my 'humerous' is broken anyway.

Going to be difficult judging this one. Too much win!

Well... Alright.

 Two things:

First, I would like to extend an open invitation to all of those who did not enter the competition; you are welcome to kiss my black ass.

Secondly, I would like to say there were some awesome entries, albeit few. I suppose I could flex my muscle and allow a few more comics to filter in, but I'm too old fashioned about my stripcreator. Why, back in my day, these things lasted a solid week and that was it... well, those were my favorites, anyway. But since the site's flow has taken a significant dip, I'll work with what I've got.

That being said, lets get on with the awards!

After some serious debate amongst... well... myself, I've decided to give the nod to:

TheGovernor

Some great entries from all sides, but I just read Wuthering Heights last year and hated every second of it. The strip captured my sentiments exactly. It's my contest! Deal with it!

Wow cool cheers. Some great entries here, cheers for the nod.

Ditto on the Wuthering Heights thing, I was forced to read that for A-Level English Lit, one of the most painfully excruciating books ever.  I think teachers peddle it upon their students as some form of perverted punishment or lopsided revenge for the fact that they failed at their life dreams and ended up teaching snot nosed secondary school misfits instead.

New Compo soon

Grats Gov!!

I also agree with the verdict regarding the book 'wuthering heights'. I think my favorite version of that yawn fest was the 'Signal Flags' version performed by Monty Python.

Hey, HCRoyall, what's the term for some anal fuck that goes around correcting people's choices of words?
