Since it's almost Halloween, I thought I'd be really original and make this CC about...Halloween. Betcha didn't see that one coming.

Actually, I was thinking about ROB ZOMBIE'S HALLOWEEN, and wondering what it would be like if Rob Zombie remade other films besides horror movies. So please, if you would...show me what it would look like if Rob Zombie, or perhaps another well-known horror director or writer, remade other films besides horror movies.

Or--you could show what it would look like if a famous NON-horror director or writer remade a well-known horror movie.

Or--you could forget about all that crap and just make a comic about Halloween.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here...

Okay, now that I'm back it's time to judge the contest. Everyone's comics were awesome, and I really mean it this time. Except for one person. I won't say who, but it's pretty obvious. Hey, maybe it's you! Ha ha, it probably is.

Everybody is a runner-up. Picking a winner from this bunch was so incredibly difficult that in order to even BEGIN to do so, I had to go out and KILL! The people I killed got up and KILLED! We know one thing--they kill for food. They EAT their victims. Willie went apeshit, man! But I didn't see nothin'. I didn't see how he got it.

Because I love Roger Corman movies and hate E.T., boloboffin gets 2ND PLACE for "Roger Corman's E.T."

And because I love the Universal classic horror films and am rather ambivalent toward Godzilla, 1ST PLACE goes to chistopher7murphy for "Universal's Godzilla."

christopher7murphy October 29, 2008 10:12 AM	Yowza! Since it is hard to portray bad voice overs in a comic strip, I wasn't sure that my strip would work. (it prob didn't hurt that the judge is a known movie buff) Thank you sir may I have another! What? I have to come up with a contest? Okay. Come back soon...when the Col. and I will get these gophers for sure!
