Over the next couple of days I'll be moving Stripcreator to a new server. Likely there will be an hour of downtime tonight as I move the database and then there'll just be the occasional glitch. (I hope.)

Well, that didn't work very smoothly. I went ahead with the DNS change so y'all should wind up on the new server soon. Let me know if you notice anything broken.

I just noticed that the bars in the forums menu and the stripcreator main page aren't showing. (the bars that tell you how many users are on and who is on that is registered).

Since the move, every post in the forums is always marked as new for me.

Also, I appear to get logged out when I start writing a post.

I also can't rate/comment on users.

I discovered this when trying to rate Zaster "bad".

The comic comments system isn't working for me. And I'm not sure if the private message system is the same or not.

Also, comics in post previewing show up as links ( the sort that come up after five comics are used in a single post).

User rating/commenting should be fixed. As should private messaging.

The who's online stuff has a weird issue so that'll take me a bit.

Comic comments are working for me here, are they still not working for you, Beeko?

Maybe it's my browser, it does it on both safari on a macintosh and google chrome on my pc. This is all that comes up-

I've got the same problem as beeko, the comments show up on the comics themselves, but if you click on your comic comment inbox it shows up blank.

Comic comment viewing should be working again.

Deleting comics doesn't work. It says I need to verify it with an ID or something.

Brad said there's something weird going on with it, I think he's trying to fix it.

Also, the link to post something in a thread is gone in the comic showcase forum.

I think I might be up to date on these fixes again. Let me know if anything still isn't working (except for the who's online, which is weirdly busted and I'll get to this week.)

In the read my damn comics forum, there is a thread mdae by Knight23. It doesn't have a rating on his first post in the thread, and when you look at his info it says he hasn't been rated yet. This all seems fairly normal, but this is where it gets kind of strange. After evil_d post, a star rating appears exactly the same as his, 45 votes and 5 stars. But it still says that nobody has voted for him yet.

Not only that, but when you click on Knight 23's "Member Rated" link just above his star rating it takes you to evil_d's information page instead of Knight23's information page.

I think the glitch is that, after a rated person's post, a non-rated user glitches up and get's the same information as the rated person, with the only difference being the name.

The thread is here if you want to investigate for yourself.

You can't post new topics in the Comic Showcase Forum. I had to resort to replacing the forum number in the URL of another forum with the forum number for comic showcase (which I had to find out). I managed to post a new topic by doing that, but I'd much rather do it the normal way.

Also, I think I posted this in here already, but I don't know if you read it. Before the move, in the previewing of a post as well as looking in a thread, I could always see five comics show up and the rest would be just links. But not normal links, sort of like this-

[Click to view comic: 'Comic Name']

If possible, could you fix that up, but make it so that all the comics show? I'm not sure if this happens for everyone.

People having the Comic Showcase new thread posting issue, can you try logging out and back in? I don't see any reason for the post a new topic link not showing up other than maybe your cookies aren't properly set (which could have happened in the transition).

I can see the link here fine and in accounts I've tried.

The comics in the recently popular section haven't been updated since the server switch things with ratings of 10 and only a few votes have remained there even after getting tons more votes and going down a couple of points.

Brad said on the first thread that there's something weird going on with it, he said he'd work on it. But I'm not so sure if he has gotten around to fixing it. He is a busy man from what I hear, so he may get around to it soon, or he may be working on bit right now. I noticed before he took it off, that it was saying users ; like ObiJo, Spankling, squidrabies and even boinky33 were online when I doubt they really were.

I'm sure he will get around to it.

I do believe we lost some comments to comics. I was going through older comics and thought some had comments that were no longer there. However, not all comments are gone... so maybe all comments before a certain date?
