I thought it would be a cute idea to have a semi-serious contest where we talk about all the nice things that we have to be thankful for and are optimistic and everything. Then I thought nah, that's horrible, scratch that. I just wrote that to make the little preview window look stupid, anyway.

My CC ideas usually suck, so I'm just keeping it simple this time. It's Spring, so it's vacation time. Okay, most people don't take vacations in the Spring, but I don't care, that's what "sprung" (ha ha) to mind and I'm sticking with it. So, make comics about vacations.

Rules? Ehh.

Judging in a week or two, depending on how many people either enter the contest or deliberately make me feel bad by not entering it.

It's time to judge this contest and announce the winner, so I am going to do that now.

Thanks to everyone who participated. To me, you are ALL winners! Not technically, of course, but in a sort of an abstract way that doesn't really count.

3rd PLACE goes to four_legged_tripod for his "Mystery, Inc." series which brought back old memories of how much I hate "Scooby-Doo."

2nd PLACE goes to mandingo for making a comic that had a funny part in it right at the end:

The OPC I started after winning the one that I was the only entrant in, garnered all of one entrant itself! Anyway, I will be back soon to see if I can start a CC in which no one enters, not even my one alternate account.

This ain't "Other Competitions", man. This is the Comic Competitions thread. The Big CC. The oldest and most venerable comic competition on Stripcreator. The main action. The history maker. And, most of all, the only steady action in town.
