My mom was in the NY Daily News talking about the WTC thing and the cops who evacuated her floor. I know we're all sick to death of WTC stuff, but I thought maybe one or two of you might be interested.
The picture in the paper version looks a LOT better. The shrinking for the online version made my mom's eyes look all fucked up.
In the issue of the Daily News in which this article appeared, there was a picture of a black woman who also had been rescued. I showed the article to coworkers and pointed out the black woman and told them that she was my mom. I think a few of them believed me.
