Hi guys, been a long time. I'm afraid I come bearing some bad news.

Our old pal and Stripcreator legend jes, John, passed away on Monday of last week, at the way too young age of 46. I don't know if he'd had any contact with any of you recently, but I thought that many of the oldest SC people would want to know. His brother Dave (fuj1980 on here) allowed me to make the announcement.

My heartfelt condolences. Truly. 

This is truly sad news. Like with a few other forum members, we reconnected a few years ago, and he has posted comments on many of my Facebook posts. We've chatted in messages. He was a really nice person and I am really sad about this.

John would always want to laugh, and with that in mind, when the coffin went in yesterday for the final curtain as it were, the family had some important music play.

Fucking "Spanish Flea". Legendary. I nearly wet myself.

RIP good buddy, hope you're having a laugh in the afterlife.

Man, I hate seeing news like this on my occasional check-ins. I need to come back more often. Jes will be missed.

This is very sad news. I met John irl over twenty years ago and he was such a lovely, funny guy. So sorry to hear this, my condolences to his family. He went far, far too soon.

Awful news, he was a good guy... way too young.

I managed to dig out the photos of when we met. Happier times.

The "spanish flea" visual is making me laugh though, well done.

I also had a meeting with John in a London pub.  Such a nice guy.  I'm glad we kept up on social media over the years.  It was so sad to see him go.

I only found out this morning, such sad news.

I met Jes along with Chicka and others a long, long time ago, but we had kept in touch ever since over various mediums. All seemed to happen so quickly. If I could remember how to post photos here I would!
