I must say, I like Happycakeman already, he seems so hopelessly upbeat and optimistic it's just impossible to not like him.

"comics please"

I just didn't have the heart to abuse him in traditional newbie fashion.

welcome Happycakeman, enjoy your stay at Stripcreator, although, please, don't enter a Comic Contest if I'm running it, I'll probably let you win for no reason.

No, a bigger clue is the content itself. Safe to say, that's not Spankling talking. Unless he also misspelled "loves".

Hello it is me again, i am not this spankling man you refer to, because my name is different.

Here is another comic, all the spelling mistakes here are intentional by the way.

However, the comic was surprisingly entertaining.

I actually thought I was a schizophrenic a couple of months ago, I kept having violent mood swings and not remembering them, I'd just black out and hurl abuse at people, I could send quite coherent text messages and be completely unaware of it.

so I looked into it and discovered that it was most likely Red-Bull that was fucking me up!

that, or the mass amounts of cocaine I was shoving up my nose!

KF - It may very well have been the Red Bull, as one of its ingredients is taurine, which is, I think, some kind of stimulant and which, I have been told, can trigger temporary psychosis and amnesia in a very small number of susceptible people, especially when mixed with other stimulants and psychoactive drugs. If a manic depressive or schizophrenic on medication drinks a can of Red Bull (or any other new age energy drink containing taurine), they will most likely have a severe psychotic episode. The caffeine certainly doesn't help, either.

BTW, schizophrenia != multiple personality disorder.

Sounds more like what you'd call a manic episode, and it's unclear from the description whether it's with or without mood-congruent psychotic features. It's also unclear whether or not you call this sort of thing intoxication if it's brought on by ingestion of taurine. Taurine's role in the CNS is poorly understood, but it can either increase or decrease dopamine levels, in which case it might (emphasis on might) be expected to produce effects similar to amphetamine intoxication or amphetamine psychosis, respectively.

Another BTW: Most people don't understand what "manic-depression" really means. They think it means really, really depressed, or prone to serious depressive episodes, or so depressed that it makes you crazy. Instead, it's an obsolete term for bipolar disorder, which is characterized by extremely wide mood swings between elevated (manic) and depressed-- therefore "manic-depressive." IME, most people who call themselves "manic-depressive" are really just melancholy or tend to have mood swings, i.e., they're dysthymic or cyclothymic. Or they're pretty normal and are medicalizing their unpleasant moods, which the therapy industry has succeeded in encouraging through the media.

I used to be a shrink.

It was definitely the Red Bull, at least, I hope so, I'd rather not be a manic depressive, I'm not touching Red Bull anymore to see if it happens again, if it does, I'll have myself committed or something.
