I just learned that there is a town in the US called "Fisty."

But that's not the best part.

The best part is it's Fisty, KY.

And for a fleeting moment, all seems right with the world.

It was probably a good idea at the time...

Hey, I bet it's the most prude city IN THE WORLD.

"Is this Fisty?"
"HEATHEN! Burn the sex-crazed demon worshippers with the power of Jesus!"
"AIEEEEEEEEEE!"

Think hillbillies, inbreeding, blue grass, shotguns and moonshine (homemade booze). The Derby is in Kentucky. Elvis was almost from there.

It's Kentucky. Unfortunately, we don't yet have a state with the abbreviation ASTROGLIDE.

According to mapquest, Fisty lies in the Appalacians of Southeastern Kentucky, surrounded by Ritchie, Carrie, Tina, Harveyton, Ary, Bearville, and (in closest proximity) Dwarf. The nearest town of any size is Hazard.

I tried to register slippery.ky a few years ago, but the Cayman Islands registrar requires that you email them the reason for your request. My request was ignored, as I figured it would be.

When in Intercourse PA, be sure to visit nearby Blue Balls (no lie). It's in the heart of Amish country, so you know you're in for a swingin' time.

The Amish are cool! I found out recently that when an Amish youth comes of age, they leave the community for a year of hellraising befor deciding whether or not to become Amish for life. The program this was on had an interview with someone on their 'year out' who had decided to try life as a crack dealer, and drove a fast sports car. Then they decided to rejoin the community.

It's called Rumspringa. The very interesting part is that most teenagers opt to rejoin the community after Rumspringa, and some opt to forego it entirely.

A small percentage leave the community permanently. There was a rock group that consisted of some ex-Amish guys that I remember hearing about when I saw this PBS thing about Rumspringa. They were kinda lame, though.

Here in the state of Victoria, in south-eastern Australia, we have two small nob-related towns - Iron Nob, and Frozen Nob. Apparently Frozen Nob is not far from the world most unfortunately-named geographical feature - Mount Little Dick.

No, I am not making this shit up.

Doglicker, South Dakota
Tight Sister, Arkansas

Okay... I made them up. But they should exist!

Just wanted to add that Kentuckians have a strange system of pronunciation. So "Toborville" would probably be pronounced "Tubbervull" and "Fisty" might be pronounced "Laura Bush."

The road between Toborville and Cornholia is Hwy 68, locally known as "Toborville-Cornholia."
