Ok I'm new here. I thought that the "Your base are belonging to us" thing was a self contained joke. Then I saw it in the bottom left hand corner of the planet Unreal webpages. So what exactly is this?

Ok, I had to renew this thread to warn everyone that "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!" is now what Matt Groening dubs "Forbiden words". I don't know if he's declared it yet, but I am.

I was reading the comics in my newspaper and chanced upon Foxtrot. I like Foxtrot. It's funny. But today's (3/12/01) contained the phrase "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!" three times.

I went to http://www.foxtrot.com to see if it'd been posted online yet, but they're still in February for the online comics.

Mark my words, this phrase will kill us all if unchecked!

BTW, I just got new bits for my CPU, and am revelling in the speed an 800mhz AMD T-bird has over my old PII 450! I even got a GeForce 2! *crying tears of joy* *throws old Voodoo 2 out window of moving car*

Let's see if a new processor helps me make funny strips.

Shit, I just got my comp saavy roommate to go over to http://www.mwave.com and pick me out some good budget stuff (I say "budget" because he spend a shitload on his new comp with a GeForce2 Ultra 256 and an AMD T-Bird 1gig) and I just used my extra paycheck of the month to get it. The 3D card is only a GeForce2 MX, but it still rocks. The motherboard, the video card, and a new power source and little fan for the processor only cost me $380.00.

Oh, and I play Counter-Strike. I creamed my jeans the first time I saw it running on my new comp at 3 times the resolution as the old one.

I've got dual 1.4Ghz P4s with 1Gb of RAM, along with a GeForce3 that I swiped from the labs in a commando raid. That, mated along with my 46" plasma display and THX certified sound system make a killer combination.

Then I woke up.
