The American Music Awards were held this month in Los Angeles, and you without a backstage pass! I'll bet you weren't even invited to the after-show party. Well, here's your chance for revenge.

I've picked out several celebrity buffoons in intriguing poses. You can do anything you like using one or more of these images. For example, you can:
* Make a forum regular cry.
* Make fun of these celebrities and thier fading stars.
* Hate the music industry.
* Lambast award shows.
* Lampoon America for treating music as something to fill the space between tampon and SUV commercials.

In other words, virtually any excuse for using these images in whole or in part is valid. You can add stuff from unrelated images as well. But here is the 'A' list:

Plastic Pop Princess Britney Spears.

The Thing, er, King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

Rock & Roll dinosaurs kiss in full Psycho Circus regalia.

Hate these images? You are allowed to research your own AMA image here (provided the link works, that is). Have at. Judging will be late Sunday afternoon.

I have weak skills and gave up, but would like to submit this for someone else's use:

Sorry it's so big... I tried to edit it and submit and wound up with a red X.
I was gonna use it but gave up cause I'm not thinking creativly right now...

Withling: I thought of Mr Home Alone also, but he's kind of old for Jacko now. Plus, Buddy Lee looks mighty cute in them jeans.

The reflection was done by taking the flip of the upside down Jacko and doing a wave filter and then a blur, then cloning it in at something like 50 or 60% opacity.

By the way, calling him Jacko really gets on my nerves, but MJ is Michael Jordan, so...

I was going to encase the little girl with the neck problem character inside the trophy, but the boorite barrage is too much!

Maybe I'll enter something in order to pad the list. I wonder which boo entry will win.

LOVE the football one! It's like he's got a hand-full of aaaaass.

Boorite's on fire...
Love Kajun's entry as well.

The rest of you still have plenty of time to shut these guys down, though!

Boorite's got my vote. All the first three were funny as heck.

Plus he's only runing against Kajun so far, which means 4 pics VS 1 pic.

I can actually only just now see Boorite's pictures, I was getting the red 'x' of death for ages, and I must say, they are fucking excellent.

You would really think that this forum would be my home, since I'm doing a degree in graphic design and my first project was about image manipulation and editing.

however, it's actually hard to come home and get myself in the mood for photoshopping, when that's what I'm escaping by coming here in the first place!

Looks like the action is winding down (to, uh, nothing). I think I'll move the judging up to tomorrow at noonish, which is just around the time I plan to peel myself up off the loveseat after another night of sleeping in my booze-stained clothes.

Ha ha! Fooled ya!

Uncharacteristically, I spent ages on this one (about two hours, I think). I think it is a really funny idea, and I just wish I had the photoshopping skills to do it justice. :)

Looks like its Boorite vs. Boorite vs. Boorite vs. Boorite vs. Boorite vs. Kajun vs. Skabby vs. Spankling vs. DexX.

First, let's get the all you lose... er, I mean runners-up out of the way:

Boorite sweeps the "Most Prolific" and "Best use of Tongue" categories (where have you heard that before?)

"Best Use of Andy's Maw" goes to Kajun. And believe me, the competition in that category is out of control.

Skabby takes both the "Best Disregard for Rules" and "Reddest X" categories. Well done.

The coveted "Lewdest Use of Britney" category goes to Spankling. And its a pretty good edit, too. Brit has never looked happier.
But the winner is DexX, for this entry:

After I got done laughing, I noticed the quality of the mask, the shadows cast by the fingers, ect. Then I ignored all that and just threw darts at a print-out of the "forum regulars" page. DexX won the toss.

So its up to you, man. Hit Us, Baby, One More Time.

While editing this pic, I found that, though Michael Jackson's face is undoubtedly creepy and disturbing, his face with the eyes missing is a helluva lot creepier. Every time I moved it around the screen and saw the background move past through the eyeholes, it made my skin crawl. *shudder*

Okay, a quick trip to Google for an image search, and then I will start a new thread.
