I just wanted to share my elation with all my Stripcreator friends. A week ago my wife returned from her third set of interviews in the Northwest. She's been job hunting since November and hasn't had much luck, and she's getting anxious and depressed.
She visited three hospitals; one across the sound from Seattle and two in western Oregon. We talked it over and both agreed that the job in Eugene was our first choice.
They called today and offered the job! Yahoo!
She'll be done with her residency in July and we'll then we're off to Oregon. I'm really excited. Half an hour away from National Forests! Mountains over 10,000 ft almost in my backyard!
The only thing I'm going to miss about Cleveland is my friends. As for the rest of it, I'd leave it in a heartbeat. The great thing about online friends like y'all is that moving across the country won't change a thing. Only I'll be farther away from wirthling so it'll be harder for me to sneak to his place and stuff bananas in his tailpipe.
