Mr. Curiousity gave me a giant left jab today, and it made me think, most of us found this site because others forgot to close the door on their way in. But for those people that appeared here first, obviously had to open the door themselves, so here's the question, how did you find (what I acutually think) the best web site in the world?

And if you care, I came in because someone left the door open.

Some guy on here with about 4 or 5 comics called "Nallo" was a regular on a video game message board I used to frequent. He posted a link to this place on that board's MB and when I clicked it, Stripcreator swallowed my soul. I posted a link to one or two of my best comics at the time, got a good response from the people who read them, made some more, and then forgot to go back to that board ever again...

Or something like that.

I found the site back when it was lowpass.com. I was actually looking for plowass.com but I typed it wrong and ended up here.

I have no idea what the person above just said, but as for myself...I linked here off of a page called grabbingsand.com, and I've never hit the Back button since.

Funny how someone claiming to be a haxx0r king messed up his very first comic because he was dim enough to try to use <> symbols. Not very 1337 at all.

They compiled the php and I walked out of the back door of the firewall, ordered a pizza and started making comics.

I was recommended this site via e-mail by Tinman, who said:

quote:
did I send you the link to our comics that we made in the comic
strip creator at http://www.stripcreator.com ?

at least read some of them, some are funny, some not, the strip creator is
good fun, try it.

So I created an account and stripcreator became part of my daily surfing, although, it was just something to do when I was really bored, then, in November I joined the forums and became hooked.

As for Haxx0r_K1ng, it's not me, but I did summon him to this realm.

Bunnerabb, of course.
Then I started spelunkering around and fell in love
with Big Evil Dan and DexX, and soon after, others.
And now I try to visit y'all daily.
Besides, I don't get out much. : )

Stripcreator was featured as a Diversion of the Week at a Temping website called Not My Desk, which is pretty funny itself. I've found a few fun things to do from the Diversions feature.

I stumbled on a site that was at the time called boredrock.com, where you got to make your own comics. Problem was there was only one character, and it was a rock. So I did a search on something like "make your own comics" and wound up here with all you sorry dumbasses. And I'm never leaving.

Here is a link to a vastly inferior DIY comics site.

The General Discussion Forums on Planetarion.

Eventually , i realised my talents for taking the piss out of people worked best when utilised in a 3 frame comic.

And i sort of evolved from there.
