This is the rare "Felicus Xeno," noted for its small body and disctinctive "red X." marking.

I also got that, but if you right-click it and choose "properties" and copy the URL in the box and paste it into the Address box, you should be able to see it. This is the result of storing an image file on Geocities. Bad rew, no treat for you!

Moving on, it seems the new "Sailor Moon" bad guy will be live, instead of cartoon...

Oh, I'm sorry. Israphael's comment was a caption. For a minute there, I thought we were just free-associating.

Yes all my fault people. See it had a caption on it already, but a serious one. This is supposedly how you ressucitate a cat thats been in water... it clears the water from its throat... So I cut that bit off and uploaded it to my old geocities site... I did work at first!

I read an article in yahoo magazine the other day... more stuff about Instant Messangers and how kids and adults use them. It included the obligatory list of shortcuts that people say, with

  • "lol"
  • "pmfji"
  • "iykwimaityd"
  • "inal"
  • "wysiwyg".

It ticked me off seeing as all I've ever seen people use was "lol" "btw" "g2g" and "brb".

"lol" - Sure, yup.

"pmfji", "iykwimaityd", "inal" - I have been using the internet for a bit over a decade now, and these abbreviations mystify me. I suppose the suitable expression would be WTF???

"wysiwyg" - Uh... yeah... this is about as much an SMS/IMS shortcut as PCMCIA, DTP or RSPCA...

"inal" is how Professor Frink would pronounce Tobor's rape of choice.

Yup, as it has been for a decade or two. The question is... why is it being listed as a common instant messenger abbreviation?

There was also a little introductory statement by "Robin Raskin" which i thought was pretty dumb. It says:

    quote:
AFAIK no one understands it all. But FWIW, mastery is withen reach, RSN. First, never say IDK or you'll have them ROTFL. INAL and thank goodness becauz[sic] TPTB would have a federal case over ths abuse of the English language. So, PMFJI, and YWIA. I G2G but you should stick with the program. TTFN!

Who would have thought that posting a broken link to a picture of a cat being swung above someones head, would have generated such discussion?
