My favorite line from the series: "Did you really think you could get away with roughing up a Catholic without a robot getting involved?"

I also thought the idea of overnighting the don to Boston was inspired.

Nice job, guys.

I have to say, dcomposed's strips improved as the series went on. It seems he has learnt well from the crabster.

I quite like the idea of a serial tag team, it gives the viewers something different to look at, and wouldn't mind a legend (Crabby or anyone else) joining mein one if they want.

I must say that I was very impressed by dcomposed input in this series. I was afraid it would be him posting awful strips and me having to make extra good comics just to keep the story going. But dcomposed came through with some good ideas, such as sending the don to Boston, I laughed at that one as soon as I read it. I felt the strips dcomposed made in the middle of the series were the strongest of the ones he produced. Well done dcomposed you finally made a funny comic!

Bazilla if you have MSN or AIM I would love to do a series with someone of your crappy caliber. If your interested let me know.

While everyone is patting each other on the ass, it needs to be said that this series was rather bad
and just broke down into a TOBOR/ASIAN GIRLS strip. True there were inspired moments, such as the
CATHOLIC ROBOT line and the introduction of HITLER,
but over all not anything worth celebrating.

Tither!

He wrote the first gave me the link in MSN and then I'd do mine and give him the link in MSN. I told him to write the first one and I'd continue his story, however, I just kept the characters he introduced and completely changed the story.

I'd like to point out that I made not only did your highlights of the series come from my half of the comics but also your major complaints about the series also came from my half.

As demonstrated here and in the "Crappy Comics" thread, crabby has made an art out of writing bad comics. They're like parodies of every bad sci-fi movie ever made, every crappy plot twist in a soap opera or a comic book. I like them. I think they're funny. This series is a worthy entry in that genre, and I salute both authors.

Tag-team authoring often seems to produce good results. Remember DexX and Big Evil Dan's series about the chicken and the road and the crossing and all that? Wirthling and I did something similar back in the olden days, too, which I really liked, although our strips kind of diverged towards the end. I've been thinking about trying something like that again, but then, I've been thinking about writing more than two comics a month.

I had ideas on who I would've liked to do it with (yes, go on quote me on it, I don't care), and although I thought about doing it with the K-Fly (quote that as well, go on) I thought that it would end up like our tag team cup and be poorly made. Crabby I thought might of wanted another go (seems like he does) And I'd willingly do it with him too. And I would love Kaufman and Fuzzyman to do it with each other.

Hmm, our entry to the Tag Team Cup was crappy because we only did two strips, you did one and I did one. It was mostly my fault, since I refused to co-operate and chat to you to form any kind of "game plan".

Right now, I'm trying to get this stupid fucking website to stop fucking dead linking me, and, shit, now the background has dissapeared...

Anyway, Bazilla, anyone, I'm up for tag-teaming a series, since it's what I'm good at (or, at least what I'm better at), but not tonight, as I'm too bogged down with stuff.

Crabby, I'm sure you me and Skagg could come up with the skabbiest 3 man comic series in existance. ;-)

Actually, you don't need to do a lot of co-ordinating with your tag-team partner to do a good job. The extent to which lara7 and I worked together was her saying "Hey Drexle, you wanna go first?" and me saying "Okay."

We generally didn't talk about our entries until *after* the whole thing was made, then we'd have a cyber-beer at the cyber-bar... or something.

Squirrel and I haven't even been able to decide that. What we've been doing is each of us would write a first segment, then we'd each try to follow up each other's, and then try to determine which pair is better.

Until the last round, where I was out of town and out of touch, so I alone was left with LS's part 1 to figure out how to follow up.

Not at all. It's probably mine. The rules say the entries have to be isomorphic, so we're each writing first and last episodes. That said, the biggest factor is the KCCMP, which states that in a Comic Cup, the kaufman entry will win in the first round, but not win the entire event. So if we lose, we've maxed out.
