I'm flying to Maryland to interview for a job in the USDA. It's been so long since I've had to do this I don't remember how it goes. Is it customary to put out on the first date? [Sorry, wrong question. That's another thing I haven't done in a while.]

Be back Thursday, either victorious or on my shield.

I went round to Andy's Maw's house for my weekly sponge bath, but I was a little early and I cut in on another client's time...

Long story short, the Leprechaun promised me a wish and I asked that you have lots of luck on your job interview. :-)

Another SC regular will come to Delmarva. Soon the balance of power shall shift in our direction, and all the base shall be belong to us.

Then we will see you as a threat, and you will have no chance to survive make your time.

...

And it's interesting how nobody said anything when I left a while ago. I had enough of that neglection crap from my family.

Speaking of "wish me luck," I'm off to Phoenix and here's the weather forecast for this weekend there:

I am going to die. Buh-bye.

You're freaking kidding me.
At 100, my body collapses and tells me to bugger off.
At 40, I put on a jacket.
At 0, I shiver a bit.

Phoenix, though... dry heat, surely?

A nice dry 40C is quite comfortable, in my opinion.

A humid 40C is hell, but that's another story...

110 degrees fahrenheit is hot, dry or not. It feels like walking into an oven. It would be much worse if there was high humidity to go along with the heat, but that's like saying, "Gabe's coming to visit but at least he's not bringing kaufman."

We didn't walk more than a couple blocks without going inside somewhere. Even shade offers little relief. The biggest thing you notice is that after standing outside for more than a couple minutes you start becoming dehydrated. I noticed that most of the locals were carrying beverages with them and I quickly realized that this was the key to not dropping dead when venturing outside. I drank gallons of water during my stay and still rarely needed to take a leak.

ObiJo, sorry to say this, but your town sucks and not just because you live there. The sprinklers are kinda neat, though.
