I missed a good chunk of Photoshop contests, so if anyone has already done this, I apologize. But tough shit, 'cause we're doing it again. I'd check to see myself but I'm too lazy to look back through all the old threads.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to defile a comic strip, be it a single panel Family Circus, or a full Sunday strip from the newspaper. I don't care. If you want to take your own comics out of the newspaper and scan them in, fine. If you want to snatch them from somewhere online that's cool too. More points to those who put more effort into this. (ie the bigger the better) But I won't scorn short pieces that are brilliant. And in my opinion, the more vile the humor the better.

I'm finding that, even with the dialouge changed, there's still a certain undefinable "Nacy-ness" to these.

I think these made me laugh the most. As did some of mine. But since I can't vote for myself, I think I'm gonna have to give it to it fuzzy for his Gil Thorp.

I'd even downloaded that particular comic and was about to make a spoof myself. His was probably funnier. Anyhoo, take it away fuzz!

Thanks... that one just wrote itself. I described the original layout of the panels to my wife (sans text). "Well, in the first panel he's got his hand on the shoulder of this kid, and in the last panel it shows their text baloons coming out of a hotel. Ya think I could do something with that?"

By the way, making Nancy naked for "Aunt Fritzi's Dream" probably took longer than anything else I submitted. Her breasts are the upside-down eyes of Aunt Fritzi (from the same panel). Her penis is constructed from the hair of her friend from the "French" comic.

For some reason, reading those last two sentences really cracks me up.

I'll start the next contest tomorrow night. I want to take a little time to think up something good (for once).
