I want to see magazine covers.

Make a magazine that would make a person unable to resist buying it. Or make one that would make the general public gasp in terrified disbelief.

Just this once, I won't be picky. I don't really care what kind of magazine cover you make. It can be about whatever you want... stripcreator, current events, you, your pet, Santa Claus.

Do you not have the time to use the trusty google image search? Are you just plain lazy? Let me lend a hand. I want to make it as easy as possible for people to get inspired and enter. Hopefully, all of these will still work.
Just look at all these links I am giving you already.

And if you still need inspiration, you could always check out covers at the Wired, Cosmo, Maxim, and Time websites.

Okay, apparently it's judging time.

Credit to the mysterious ChuckEye for the excellent entries, fuzzyman for his (as usual) wonderfully professional-looking stuff, namgubed for the great Tobor's 2002 idea, TheBlairZip for revealing Sean Connery, and even TheElPaso's infamous Spurts Illustrated made me snicker.

The win, however, goes to Spankling. His numerous entries made me laugh, but his hold on the win was sealed by the "Pretzel Terrorist Alert - Red!" blurb on Leader's Digest and the entirety of Martha Stewart Killing.
