Did you not spot where it says Click here for help including comics and pictures in your post. when you try to post something? Do you not think that's a bit of a giveaway?

As for the comics, they're not very good. Maybe the fact you can't post them to the forum is a bit of a blessing in this case.

well i did see that after i posted, so sorry to bother you sir.

Thanks for the critism, but you could have told me how to make them better, and not just say they suck.

Thanks for saying you like them, even if you really dont! lol, and also, most of them are thrown towards certain friends, like Just one of those days. Also, i play a game called infiltration alot, so thats where that comes from in the comics hehe.

i may only be a newbie, but in all the forums i go to, there is always some seasoned "veteran" that thinks he owns the place, and has to make everyone else feel miserable, congratulations asshat, you just did that for a new forum for me. perhaps you hate your father?

Ranger: What Do you think of my comics? Criticism is welcome
K_vs_K:Your comics suck
Ranger:Congratulations, asshat. You got me mad by critisicing my comics, even though I said you could.

Ranger, you are officially a troll after 3 posts. Now fuck off and die.

wasnt trying to be a troll, im just sick of all this negativity everywhere i go. in all honesty im not a troll, and i know i said criticism was welcome, but just saying they suck is NOT critisism, it's being a dickhead, all because he has more comics/posts than me, it makes it ok to do something like that? i didnt say his comics suck, in fact, i like the guys comics, im just saying perhaps he should be less of an ass when he is dealing with newbies... If there were people like him in the army, we'd be fucked. how can you just say something sucks without giving reason and try to help the guy out? i could understand if he's french :D

He was being staight out and forward. Is it our fault there is negativity everywhere you go? No, it's not. If you can't deal with all this negative energy, then leave. If your gonna stop being a whiny bitch then stay, but don't cry when people don't like your comics.

Some advice on how to make better comics:

1. Cut down on the narration. A lot. In "Stupid Asshat Clown", all the text in the narration boxes should be moved into a text bubble above the TV. In "Dont talk shit if you cant back it up" and "Macs Rock", the narration could be removed completely. Same goes for "Reality T.V.", where it's redundant with the title.

2. Use proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and capitalization. People will be more likely to respond positively or helpfully to your work, be it good or bad, if you do.

3. Reduce the amount of text you use, as much as necessary to prevent the background of the panels from tiling, and objects or characters from floating in space. "Dont talk shit if you cant back it up" and "Idiot Fuckheads that own everything..." look especially poor due to this tiling effect. You'll be surprised at how effectively you can reduce your word count if you work at it. If you really can't make it work, consider whether you're trying to say too much for the comic format, or whether you should break the strip into multiple parts.

4. Be funny. For starters, if a comic doesn't make you laugh, don't hit the save button.

Some advice on how to get along in the forums:

1. Don't expect anyone to hide how they really feel about your work. If you're not willing to hear that you suck, it's probably best not to post at all. If people do tell you that you suck, don't whine or throw a fit.

2. Remember that nobody owes you anything. If you're doing something wrong, try relying on your own critical thinking skills to figure out how to do it right.

Errm.. i guess i got started off on a bad foot, thanks for the constructivecritisism there man i appriciate it. really, im not being sarchastic :D i did notice the tiling affect after i had made those comics, and wasnt very happy with it. im sure i can fix it up a bit in my next comics.

In most of my comics, im not going to try to be real funny, i was hoping to do more of some kind of a story, but humor is always good :). sorry i made a few of you mad because i got upset at a completely un called for response. he could have done so politely and calmly, but i understand if he's in one of those moods, as i get into them alot. Sorry if i offended you all, but it really did get under my skin, that remark.

Heres a little background info. 17, Junior in highschool, Kentucky, US. Army Reserves for about a month and a half now, and i absolutely love it. anyone else here in the service? if so what branch ect.? im in a reserve unit now, the 100th armored division :)

As far as the spelling, and grammar, it has been corrupted by fast typing in the gaming world hehe, as im sure you know, playing a game, and typing at the same time can be rather hard, and frustrating, so you tend to not care anymore, and from there let the people decypher what you have written hehe.
Sorry if i sounded whiny back there, i was pissed off there for a tic, and was in one of my moods. i do appriciate the help :) I am an avid Beyond Unreal forumer, and know what it's like to have newbies around, so i will try to make it easier on y'all, and tryto earn some respect around here before i start flaming valued members of the community :) truly am sorry bout that, and I sat down, and looked at it from your all's perspective, and cant agree with you more, however i do find that 1st response to be completely out of line still.

Well, i guess i will be sticking around, and try to get my postcount up a bit, so im not a "Newbie" n00b, or whatever you call it here. hopefully not anything in that retarded counterstrike "haxxor" shit. it makes me want to kill some babies whenever i see that shit...

Well, yall take care, and hopefully see you in a better, less agrivated thread sometime in the near future.

If you would like to check out infiltration, try infiltration.sentrystudios.net =D a real good fun game. definately not a newbie there, and in those forums, "newbies" are usually treated a little nicer ;)

Being respected or alternatively, stigmatized on this particular forum has nothing to do with being a newbie or with how many posts or comics you have. It's all in how you present yourself and what you present in your strips.

How old is that forum? The older a place gets, the less newbie-intolerant it tends to become.

I could go on quite a bit about my observations on this subject, but who really cares? :-P

well, infiltration has been around since 1999, and i have been there the entire time. but we have flocks upon flocks of newbies each day asking "oooh can we get akimbo pistols, and a laser cannon" blah blah newbie-ish stuff :D how old/new is this forum? i think it's more newbie tolerant due to the fact that we just point to the previous threads about "Desert Eagle's in .50 AE, and mac-10's in a realsim game, and why not"
hehe.

Newbies aren't the only n00bs on this site.
Hell, Nate and Josh are still n00bs, but a lot of people who came on a while after them are welcomed.
It's all in how you present yourself. In all honesty, this board was made essentially to draw the annoying firt-timer posts, and subsequent flames from the main board. That is also what the "Fights go here" board is for. Attacking someone online. The general forum is somewhat cleared up because these two exist.
Basically, unless you're a regular (Hi Norm!), and everyone already kinda likes your comics, this is not the forum to post in. Most regs use this for extremely long comic series they make, or for tag teams. It makes it easier for people to view comics.
So, basically, if you are just trying to introduce yourself, get people to read your shit by being a reg, and if you want flames and bad critics, just post your comics before you reach 30.

What are you missing? Somebody managed to use the words 'circumbendibus' and 'diuturnity' in a sentence.

I literaly laughed out loud when I read that. It was so unintentionaly funny. Freaking beautiful! So you see negativity directed toward you wherever you go and you think that is everyone in the world but you is to blame for it! HAHAHAHAHAHA Not one of your comics made me feel anything but a strong feeling that America should have continued with Eugenics after the 20's in which case you would not be here. Yet your post where you were trying to be serious. Here is my advice be 100% totaly serious in all of your strips. If you do that you are eventually going to make something else that is unintentionaly funny.

Not that my comics are the funniest thing in the world, but they have something that yours do not, and that would be jokes. Your comics would be much funnier if they contained jokes.

(Enter the grammar police.)

"So you see negativity directed toward you wherever you go and you think that is everyone in the world but you is to blame for it!"

Note the "you is to blame for it." That "is" should be an "are." If you are going to be mean to my friend, please use proper grammar. Thank you.

Hehehe... I crack myself up.

The subject of "is" (the second one, I mean, not the extraneous first one) is "everyone" (specifically, "everyone in the world but you"). Even though "everyone" usually indicates more than one person, I've never known it to be used with "are".
