I was feeling generous so I read all of them.

Anyway, first off when you do the action thing like *says real fast* or *long pause* that just annoyed me, just try to use punctuation to get that across.

Well, that's kinda hard to do, in my opinion. But, I'll try. Anyway, tell me what you think of these two new comics...

This one is Day at Work IV^ and this one is VI, down there, I kinda got the Titles switched around, I made both of em' after yer comment that you made earlier, so they still have the *Long Pause* and stuff so just deal with it for now and I'll stop doin' it. Here's the second..

To be honest I just didn't find them funny at all. I think maybe the jokes in your strips are getting lost in all the wordiness and the *verbiage* etc.

in one word? bad...

I didn't see the need for putting the name of the toy company in the narration box for ALL the panels. You only need it in the VERY first panel to set location. Too wordy for the jokes...some jokes can be wordy because of the sophistication of the joke. Not yours I am afraid.

Well..after an hour of reading both of yer comics...I can some both of them up in one word..AssCrap..But, thanks for the critizism, maybe with yer two's advice, I can make my comics better! So, Thanks!

EastwiththeBeasts - I think your reply was a bit harsh. Remember that you did ask for opinions, and that's what they gave. Most of the "negative" comments were constructive in nature - no need to go for the "asscrap" type stuff unless it's meant facetiously. If so, a emoticon of some kind generally helps people get the gist of what your saying. :P

Anyhoo, I did think the comics are a little akward, I agreed that it's superfluous to name the company in every panel, and I find the *descriptions* very distracting.

You can use an elipse for pauses ( . . .)

You know Bob . . . You're fired

I find that connecting sentences with dashes, or stringing the words together is enought to demonstrate rapid speech:

I-gotta-go-now!
or
Igottagonow!

Stuff like that. Anyway, though there are some users here that revel in being mean, most of the regular users use constructive criticism and can be very helpful.

Well, if my other ones sucked ass..then tell me what you think of these..*sigh* I'm just gonna keep makin' em' until you people like em'..so, tell me what's wrong with these, or what's right..

Those newer ones were slightly better but you're over-explaining things still. The people reading these comics aren't stupid and will be able to understand without all the text.

For example:

"Well, yer on and off everyday bitching and complaining has gone too far, so I think if I stop now and get out more, that maybe you'll shut yer fat mouth and let me live my life.."

How about something like:

"I just came out to shut you up"

Sometimes less is more.
