We had such fun when Gabe ran Contest 43 that I'd like to repeat it.

To quote Gabe: Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to defile a comic strip, be it a single panel comic, or a full Sunday strip from the newspaper. I don't care. If you want to take your own comics out of the newspaper and scan them in, fine. If you want to snatch them from somewhere online that's cool too. More points to those who put more effort into this. But I won't scorn short pieces that are brilliant. And in my opinion, the more vile the humor the better.

Contest ends... some time next year. Lets say 1/9.

If you copy the adress of the picture, paste it in the adress bar and hit enter, you will see the picture.

Two Family Circus parodies done in the same contest? By two people who can't grasp the concept of posting images on a forum? What are the odds?

Seriously.

you could try putting the images on pbase.com

yeah, well screw that. it costs money. (:

anyone know of any free webhosting places that aren't geocities? also, if i stick with geocities, would it be to my advantage to just put links in my photoshop posts, rather than trying to add images (save y'all the headache of copy-and-pasting)? should i just give up entirely and go back to not checking SC.com? this is all pertinent, as i've been defacing a Chick tract, and i know you all want to see it...

With Gabe around, I don't know if there's a need for this. But if you E-mail it to me, I'll put it up. That goes for anyone else who needs temporary contest space, as long as it's not a monstrous file.

I also noticed boinky33 and i think dcomp use a couple of drawing sites to store pics... toonpang... and another one.. i forgot what it was now... but you need to submit a pic, and it has to be approved to be able to post...

www.netfirms.com schmucko. but be prepared for massive unreliability, and I think there's also a off-site image link limit of like 450k or something. but you get something like 30-40 megs for free!
