Right,

I made a remark that I think changing the default charcters would be a good idea, because I'm tired of all the cheap jokes made just because the default characters are young asian girls, and the stereotypes they imply. I'm not saying all the asiangirl jokes are unfunny, just that we'd be better off if default characters were as neutral as possible.

Now I copped a lot of flak for this so I'm ready to take your arguments here.

I may fuck pigs* but I wanted to hear some fairly radical suggestions so I posted to General Discussion. Exactly. The only real solution is randomizing the starting characters. Which has already been suggested at least once. And it might provoke creativity.

If that were set up, I would run a comic contest where you had to submit unadulterated comics that you created by refreshing make.php until something funny resulted.

The only reason I'd object to changing the default characters is because of all the past and future jokes it would ruin. To tell the truth, I think those Asian girls are creepy-looking.

I just don't understand the point of changing the defualt characters. It doesn't make any sense. It will make poeple even lazier if the defualt characters are rendomly generator then people won't bother to change them at all. If you leave it blank then people will make comics with no characters. Maybe people just make lots of asian girl comics because asian girls are funny. Changing the defualt characters is a stupid pointless idea.

One crap joke would get swapped for a worse one. Not without bloodshed anayway. Maybe Brad'll retire them when the 1 millionth "Sucky Sucky" Joke's been done. In 2004... I wish it were different but...
