Here are the rules!

•You must pick one of the comics that I have made and make a better version of it.
•Of course you will change him from how it is, but don't make a whole new comic here.
•No limit on how many you can make.
•"Fixing" the comic "Chelsea is Sexy" (which should be Chelsey) will result in losing enough points that you will have no chance. Take the hint.
•I'm not saying you can't get one in a series, but if you do you might want to "fix" the whole series for clarity's sake.
•Last but not least, the banned list. These are comics you can't "fix" because they relate to people on forums you don't know anyway.
Anything before "And Now, for Something Completely Different"
Anything else with "Melvin & Superfly" in the title. *shudders*
Anything with "Interviews" in the title. *shudders*

...this still leaves a very generous selection. Contest ends around noon on Saturday (any comic before then not on the above list is fair game).

I'm looking forward to see what my comics look like with a master's touch!

What do I get if I win? The chance to have everyone attempt to improve upon my comics and make them better? I don't even think thats possible.

My unyet created comic is such an improvement on yours that it's not even funny. I was going to actually enter something worthwhile but when I went through your comics I changed my mind. Bad really bad.

People around here -- myself included -- tend to get cranky if you start a comic contest when it's not your turn, as some newbie does every few months. In our defense, it's not very hard to figure out that you're not supposed to do that. It's in the FAQ, and the pattern can be easily discerned by reading a few of the previous contest threads.

BDD, your idea for a contest is a decent one, if not wholly new. If you win a contest, feel free to start one with this theme. If you don't like the current contest, a new one will come along in a few days. If you don't want to wait, I suppose there's nothing stopping you from running your own contest in this forum, or maybe the Fights forum, but past experience suggests it won't get a lot of participants.

See the problems not the idea, but the presentation, you just need to work on your spin,

instead of it being a "competition" make it a "challenge" or better an "invitation"

instead of "rules" have "creative suggestions"

And while I appreciate the idea of a banned list as a unique way to make ppl read your comics you may be better off limiting it to one or two and inviting people to make the comic funnier or expand on the idea, because it would be interesting to see the logical progression of a comic as the people on here mould or twist the comic in their own unique ways, much as they do with replies in certain threads.

Its all about PR in this place.
