PEOPLE I AM CRABBY AND I WANT TO GET TO #1. IVE MADE SEVERAL COMICS CHECK THEM OUT TELL ME WHAT YOU LIKE AND DONT LIKE AND HELP ME GET TO #1.

In the plethora of guides floating around about proper 'netiquette', the one item I see more than any other is that people equate all caps with shouting.

Don't use all caps, they say. People will think you're shouting. I generally think, 'There's someone who left their caps lock key on and didn't feel like retyping'.

I noticed that you've got a few strategic points of your message you did put in lower case. Which leads me to believe that all your upper case is there for a reason.

I'm just curious as to what it was.

P.S. - If you want to get to #1, you've got to pay homage to Tobor by sacrificing a virgin to him. (You might want to talk to wirthling. He never gets any.)

Funny that Tobor is involved. He's the only other all caps induhvidual I've seen around here.

Well Gabe_billings I can't speak for everyone but I use CAPS just to get my point across. I feel that it stands out more and people find it easier to read. I have had people tell me to stop shotuing at them and I just laugh at the comment. When you write without CAPS no one says stop whispering do they??? I think that by me getting to #1 it will be a huge step forward for all us CAPS users out there that scoff at "netiquette."
The time for CAPS has come and it will be a time of much rejoicing!!!!!!!!

p.s who is this Tobor you speak of????

1) You should still punctuate.
2) If you ALWAYS use caps, how do YOU show emphasis?

Do you see how the judicious use of CAPS and punctuation has created three different interpretations of the exact same three words?
