A running track is 1 8/9 km long. How much distance will a man cover, running around it 5 times?
I'll show you on the blackboard.
So, how do you do it?
First you have to convert 1 8/9 into an improper fraction which is 17/9.Then you have to multiply 17/9 by 5 which is 85/9.Then I will convert it into a mixed fraction which is 9 4/9.
So tell me your final answer.
So a man will 9 4/9 distance if he runs 5 times around a track which is 1 8/9 km long.
