Are these two men essentially different?


	Why, of course they are! I can tell just by looking at the color of their skin that the gentleman on the right is oppressed...


	...while the one on the left is a member of a privileged class. Yes, skin color and race indicate essential differences.


	Yep, these two individuals are members of completely different groups. Why, it's almost as if one isn't on the level of the other, as if one isn't even the same species as the other.


	And, of course, since one group is unable to fend for itself, we must take care of it. Yes, that's right, we're affirming Dred Scott. Taney was right after all! Imagine that!
