I arrive in my seventh grade Bible class after eating lunch and am surprised by my teacher's insturctions.

I sit through class not paying attention to a word that my teacher says, but instead focusing on the permission slip that I need to get my mom to sign.

| I wonder if my mom would even sign the form... If not I would be THAT KID who wasn't allowed to see the movie because of her parents! | |

I begin to hear the chatter of my classmates talking about the "R" rated movies they have seen and am quite surprised by how many of them have previously viewed these types of movies.
