I found out it's a 21-and-over venue, and we're 17, so how about coffee in this place, instead?

A king, actually. My older brother died, and I kind of got promoted.
I kind of inherited his fiancee, Catherine, too, but that's mainly a political thing.

Read any good books lately? I read a lot. In fact, I like to think of myself as a scholar. I just picked up this one called Persepolis, by Marjane Satrapi.
Wait... you're engaged to your dead brother's fiancee?
Married, actually. Don't worry - I'm the king. People expect me to have girlfriends. My wife just looks the other way. Anyway, this book I was reading...
You know, I was thinking of marrying my third cousin, John Adams. If I do, I would never put up with him having affairs!

Sounds right.
We're in a coffee shop in Chicago in 2010, talking about a book that was first published in Paris in 2000, because we were too young to get into a poetry slam in a bar. Does this sound right?
