End Times

This ridiculously long series that doesn't actually have an ending brought together almost all of my earlier recurring characters in a heart-wrenching tale of religion, necrophilia and bestophilia. It won't make much sense unless you've read a lot of my previous comics (especially Adventures of John Pienaar, which is a kind of prequel to this), and even then making sense won't be its fortÃ©. Having said that, though, it's probably the best thing I've ever done. I mean in my life, ever. Looking at it after all this time, I'm impressed by all the fancy narrative tricks I was using, like flashbacks, and the mysterious foreshadowing in the first two comics. These days I only do jokes about penises and cunts. If I'm really bored one day I might try to finish this story. That cliffhanger probably has everyone on tenterhooks.

	So you were the one who ordered the terrorist attack of October 21st, 2001?


	In person!


	I'm investigating the disappearance of John Pienaar, a BBC journalist who was reportedly in the Evening Times building on that fateful day.


	I don't know about him. I was just trying to shut down the newspaper. He was but collateral damage.


	Okay, thanks for your help, Mr Bollen. Just one last thing, and I'm asking as a fan of your work - where do you get your ideas?
