today after three days of phone calls i reached a truce in my fight over being banned from studies at covance - for now, i'm only on probabtion and not banned. not sure how this will play out.
i payed my credit card bill and took my car in to have the brakes checked. the estimate was $500 so i said no thanks,
but something got stuck when they tried to put it back together so right now my car's in the shop and i'll have to walk to mitch's party tonight because the guy who borrowed my bike hasn't fixed it.
the house i was thinking about buying is on temple, not the next block on eastern, so i'm not gonna buy that one, i was looking at the wrong house.
tomorrow i have a brunch date with the couchsurfers, in walking distance. and it's our neighborhood's casino night, maybe i'll drop in.
so except for paying the electric bill (which is still in the car in the shop), i got some of today's to do list things done. but tomorrow's lis tis now just get the car back.
